A mission from the galactic empire

The first message from HQ came a bit earlier than Ru-Wa-Aki expected, but he was excited. This would be his first mission since his appointment as the district supervisor for Universe 9B, Sector 23, Sub-area 459F.

Sure…it wasn’t the most exciting place to be, but it would be home for Ru-Wa-Aki for the next 200 rotations of the Galactic sun of Universe 1A. In other words, he was going to be there a long time & being a glass half-full kind of person, Ru-Wa-Aki had decided he’d enjoy himself.

Most administrators would have preferred to be a bit closer to the action in the central universes, but for someone like Ru-Wa-Aki even the backwaters of the universe had their own charms. Chief amongst them getting a front-row seat at the progress that consciousness made at different planets within his jurisdiction.
